The Old Mill is located in the countryside near Duloc. It is one of the landmarks of the farmlands surrounding the city-scape.

Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey set up camp at the mill on their last day before returning to Farquaad. At night Donkey goes inside to check in on Fiona, and ends up finding out about her curse.

Trivia

• Given that much of the wood has rotted and cobwebs can be found inside, it is likely the mill has been abandoned by whoever once owned it.
• The windmill only appears in Shrek, although a drawn version is seen on a mosaic title displaying a world map in the Potion Factory in Shrek 2.
• The windmill gets its namesake and likeness from the Silly Symphony short, The Old Mill.
